The Richardson family just moved into their lovely new home a few months ago. Often times when you are house hunting you have to see a space for it’s potential, and that’s what they saw in this room. It currently has nice tongue and groove wood paneled walls (the good stuff, not just sheets of paneling) but their dark stain leaves the room feeling small and outdated. The plan is to continue the white trim into this room from the surrounding rooms and to prime and paint the paneling and bookcases (not pictured, but they consume the entire third wall of this room). We will then rearrange the furniture, purchase a new sofa, and of course, my favorite part, add some beautiful textiles and accessories to complete the space. Below you will see a few pictures of the current room, the various contenders for fabric choices in the space, and then the final fabrics that were selected. This Friday is installation day and I am VERY much looking forward to seeing this room become a functional and beautiful space for this family to enjoy!
